Whether you’re freelancing, running an online business, or employed remotely, here are five affordable destinations where you can work, explore, and enjoy some downtime without breaking the bank.

I have been fortunate to travel to some of my dream destinations for work. Work has actually been the key to most of the incredible experiences Ive had in my life, even outside of the financial aspects. Sometimes you travel business class, and sometimes you travel coach and are staying in hostels. Some people even travel via van or RV and work from there or from coffee shops etc along the way. There are many ways people have become digital nomads, and each has a unique story and experience. Along with suggestions for each location, I’ll break down essentials like affordable accommodation, coworking spaces, and fun spots to make your travels both productive and exciting.
